  • All our qualified staff are carefully selected on the basis of their experience and requirements for the role.

  • Each member of staff (including assistants)undergo extensive induction training, which covers areas such as safeguarding and child protection, equal opportunities, health and safety, and working together as a team.

  • We are committed to supporting the ongoing professional development of our staff through local and national courses, staff meetings and in-house training.

  • We like to “grow our own staff at Green Acres” and to assist in this our head of centre is a qualified SVQ assessor and internal verifier. Morgan Bradley is also a qualified assessor.

  • We work in close partnership with training providers to ensure our assistants develop their professional knowledge and skills as well as gaining practical experience, to enable them to develop into excellent practitioners.

  • We also work in partnership with local secondary schools, providing work experience and training to young people who wish to embark on childcare as a career.
